Can Zhang

Can Zhang, born in Chongqing and raised in Chengdu, is the founder and creative director of CSD.DESIGN. He graduated from the Politecnico di Milano in Italy with a Master's degree in Architecture (EMDM). Can Zhang has extensive experience and remarkable achievements in the industry. He is currently a specially appointed professor at Sichuan Conservatory of Music, Chengdu Academy of Fine Arts, a visiting professor and graduate advisor at the Department of Environmental Art, Southwest Jiaotong University, and a council member of the Interior Design Branch of the Chinese Institute of Architecture. He has won numerous awards in international and domestic design competitions, including the Andrew Martin International Interior Design Award and being named the Most Popular Chinese Designer by Hurun Report. In terms of professional achievements, Zhang Can's design philosophy emphasizes the combination of simplicity and experience. His works often create warm and inviting spaces, focusing on the interaction and communication between people and their environments. His design works have won numerous awards both domestically and internationally, showcasing his outstanding ability in spatial design and the creation of cultural atmospheres.
