Miroslava Petrova

Miroslava Petrova holds a Master's and Ph.D. in Interior and Furniture Design. She worked as an interior and furniture designer in Bulgaria, and as Editor-in-Chief of MD Magazine, a professional publication focused on design and architecture. With over 20 years of experience as a university lecturer, she is currently a professor at the University of Monterrey in Mexico, where she teaches in the Interior Design program within the Department of Arts and Design. Dr. Petrova has authored more than 40 scientific publications, including contributions to proceedings of prestigious international conferences and peer-reviewed journals. Her current research interests are in the field of artificial intelligence in design education, with a focus on innovative pedagogical strategies to foster critical and creative competencies.
