Crescent Residence 2 Serviced Apartment

Matrix Design

Client: Phu My Hung Development Corporation

This project is the interior renovation of high-end serviced apartments in Ho Chi Minh City, responding to increasing demand from international families for modern, functional, and comfortable residences. Situated by Crescent Lake, the design leverages ecological resources and mature community infrastructure while incorporating local cultural references and international living standards.

The design strategy was based on detailed user research, targeting high-income Japanese and Korean expatriate families. It integrates functional flexibility, spatial efficiency, and aesthetic refinement to create a balanced residential environment. Modular design and a BIM-based digital management system enabled real-time cross-border construction control, overcoming regional barriers and ensuring quality and efficiency.

Public areas, including corridors and double-height spaces, were redesigned to introduce natural light and enhance brightness. The façade references traditional Vietnamese brickwork, creating visual depth and a ceremonial entrance. Material and color schemes are standardized, using natural wood as a base, accented by black and white details, creating a modern, calm, and internationally oriented atmosphere.

The apartments adopt prefabrication logic with “factory high-precision preassembly + rapid on-site assembly,” ensuring timely delivery and quality control. Ergonomic modules enhance comfort and usability. Guest rooms follow a “less is more” philosophy, providing serene and pure sleeping environments. VIP areas incorporate natural jade walls and linear lighting, balanced with dark wood and beige furniture to create elegant social spaces.

Key materials include stone, sintered stone, ceramic tiles, wood veneer, and inorganic coatings. The design emphasizes natural light, functional adaptability, and high-quality materials to create a residential environment that is both comfortable and visually sophisticated.

This project demonstrates how thoughtful interior design can revitalize existing apartment stock, offering international-standard living, flexibility, and high aesthetic and functional quality. It serves as a benchmark for urban renewal and the enhancement of high-end residential assets.
