Xinpeng Liu

Xinpeng Liu, architect and landscape designer. He holds a Master's degree in Architecture and formerly served as Lead Designer at the Architectural Design and Research Institute of Tsinghua University. He subsequently founded Natural Space (Beijing) Engineering Design Co., Ltd., where he serves as Design Director. He has specialized in indoor landscape and vertical greening for over a decade.
His portfolio includes the executive living wall at Lenovo Global Headquarters, the atrium living wall at Raycom Info Center, the outdoor living wall at the Shandong Pavilion of Beijing International Horticultural Expo, the indoor landscape at Senwei Food Court, and indoor landscapes and rooftop gardens at Beijing International School.
He is a recipient of the American MUSE International Design Gold Award, the French GPDP "International Top 100 Innovative Designer" title, and the China Human Habitat Sustainable Innovation Design Gold Award. He serves as a juror for the Italy A' Design Award and the IAI Design Award. He is an Innovation and Entrepreneurship Mentor at Beijing University of Chemical Technology International Education College, a Guest Lecturer at the Vertical Greening Group of the Green Building Committee under the Chinese Society for Urban Studies, and a Guest Lecturer at Garden Academy. His work has been featured in Trendy Home Magazine, China Flower & Gardening News, and China Construction News.
With deep expertise at the intersection of architecture, interior design, landscape design, botany, and smart technology, his design philosophy centers on ecological priority and spatial integration. He advocates for the deep integration of plant systems with architectural space to create sustainable living environments that deliver both ecological value and functional experience.
